Silk Willoughby Community Shop and Post Office
Silk Willoughby Multi-Use Centre has recently been given an O2 'It's Your Community' Award. The centre opened in 2006 after the village was left without a post office and access to other services. It is housed in the converted toilet block of the former village school which is now the village hall. The buildings are owned by the village and run as a community-based project, primarily to help the elderly and those with no transport. Books and videos are donated to the centre and then hired out, with proceeds gonig to the upkeep of the church.
