After numerous set backs, the shop was opened in 2007, funded by the local community through purchase of shares. It was an immediate success with both locals and visitors alike. Not only for the wide range of products and services provided, but also as a meeting point in the small but busy coffee shop. The Post Office opened during early March 2007 and has also proved very successful.
Our shop is staffed entirely by volunteers. They are responsible for serving our may customers, cleaning, laundry, ordering, stocking shelves, making tea and coffee and refreshments and helping in the kitchen. Our volunteers are very proud of their shop and love to chat to the visitors and will always give you a warm Welsh welcome. or CROESO as we say locally
